We Are Dedicated To Helping Those In Need

We take great pride in the individuals hand picked to form & grow our organization and further DOF’s mission. Collectively, we have all experienced every phase of the harsh reality of homelessness, living “on the fringe of society” , and the frustrations of having to deal with a broken system. Each of us has a strong desire and the necessary drive & sense of urgency to address our nation’s near epidemic proportions of Homelessness.

Ways You Can Help

  • Smiles are free. Homeless people are not invisible. 🙂
  • $1 can go a long way. Spare change works too.
  • Give a donation of cash or goods to a program which you believe in.
  • Bring awareness to others.
  • Before throwing away something you dont need consider donating it to someone who may need it.
  • Volunteer for us or a local shelter or food bank.

The mission of DO Foundation (DOF) is to connect directly with homeless people for a personal account of their immediate needs and to generate community support in conjunction with implementing cost-effective programs to aid and assist with meeting their critical needs. Homelessness is indiscriminate. Likewise, DOF assists in the needs of those who are homeless, regardless of the circumstances on how they arrived on our doorstep.

DO Foundation holds the essential belief that all people, no matter their walk of life, are entitled to Dignity, Respect and the Opportunity to realize or regain a life of self-sufficiency through community involvement and assistance, as opposed to living in a state of homelessness.

All donations, monetary and non-monetary, made to and on behalf of DOF, will go toward our cutting edge process of helping our clients; everything from transitional housing for a single mother with small children, to helping fund our newest DO House purchase, to providing job referrals and personal financial responsibility training for our clients. Even supporting and further development of our custom client tracking software system, aptly named “DOSYS”. Your generous donation is greatly appreciated.
